In a tumble dryer, clothes get twisted up after a while and spin tangled together – in this case the machine cannot blow air through them properly, and drying takes longer. The rubber bumps on the surface of the dryer egg separate the tangled textiles, so the warm air reaches everywhere. This can shorten drying time by up to 28% – which directly means saved energy and money.

In addition, it softens clothes without chemicals, reduces creasing, and also helps remove lint. The pack contains two dryer eggs and two scent sticks; one stick is enough for approx. 40 drying cycles, and its scent is soft spring. The casing is made of recycled material, and the manufacturer gives a 10-year guarantee on it.

Usage:

• Place the dryer egg in the tumble dryer drum together with the clothes.
• Start drying with the usual programme – the care instructions of the garment and the machine apply here as well.
• You can leave the dryer egg in the machine after drying; it does not have to be taken out every time.
• IMPORTANT: in a combined washer-dryer, use it only in the drying cycle, never with a washing programme!
• During drying the egg heats up – take it out carefully and let it cool down before touching it.

Replacing the scent stick:

Insert the new stick into the inside of the egg through its bottom – the new stick pushes the old one out at the top end. Push it in completely until it slides into place, and check that it sits loosely, leaving a small gap between the inner wall and the stick. With the fragrance-free version, no scent stick needs to be inserted. Put the used scent stick in the general waste.
